HAAUTE is the dream of a chocolate brown Indian woman born and raised in a small village called Patharia of Madhya Pradesh, where she was restricted from wearing denim or sleeveless clothes. And she was often reminded of her skin tone, and why she should avoid certain colours because of her skin tone. She was also asked to know all the house chores, stitching, knitting, cooking, painting, and make a good earning career in order to get accepted by someone in future as a wife like her mom. But the best thing with Priyanka was the unconditional support of her parents who fought for her education and that’s where she excelled herself. With a degree in engineering, she got a job at Tata Consultancy Services Mumbai. And while she was earning her livelihood, her passion for fashion started blooming and something that was restricted as a hobby, slowly started becoming parallel to her career. After five years with lots of hits & trials in 2017, she quit her job and started a small Instagram handle called HAAUTE, where she made a small portfolio of styling herself and soon it grew into www.haaute.com, a full-fledged celebrity styling firm.
Priyanka, who has styled more than 57 celebrities including Abhishek Bachchan, Randeep Hooda, Shruti Haasan, Mrunal Thakur, Radhika Madan, and more feels that it is just the beginning and sky is her limit. “Only you know your path at heart, everything which aligns with that path is one’s best suited personal style,” says Priyanka, who has also worked with more than 300 fashion designers & labels in the past.
